PRINTS
Due to the nature of this work, all sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, or returns are not possible. However, if your print arrives damaged, please reach out to me promptly at info@signebay.com.
Every effort is made to ensure the colors of the prints are calibrated as accurately as possible to provide a high-quality product. However, it’s important to understand that the colors on the final print may differ slightly from what you see on your computer monitor. This is because monitors vary in their ability to display colors.
WORKSHOPS
PRICING, INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
The prices for the workshops and retreats are in euro. The prices for the workshops and retreats are based on double or single occupancy (depending on what the attendee has purchased) and include the services specified in the daily itineraries, including meals, accommodations, admission fees, and guided activities as stated. Prices do not include any item not specifically listed or in the itinerary, including but not limited to, air and other transportation to and from trip start and termination points; services and meals not listed in the itinerary; all expenses during leisure time including admission fees, meals, and beverages; passports or other travel documents; travel insurance or travel protection (i.e., medical insurance, emergency evacuation, and similar services); airport arrival/departure fees or country taxes; personal expenses; gratuities; and all items of a personal nature.
Unless otherwise specified, prices do not include any local taxes, duties, or fees, including foreign departure, security, port charges, park fees, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger facility charges, or international transportation tax.
PAYMENT
Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer. The Stripe or Paypal commission saved will be put to good use for more delicious food, wines, snacks, and refreshments. Write us here to pay by invoice and bank transfer: info@signebay.com
ENROLLMENT FEES
Most of our workshops and retreats give you the option of choosing between a single payment (due immediately) or a payment plan, that allows you to pay in two installments. If you select the payment plan, you must pay the initial payment on the day of your enrollment, and then your the other installment will be due on specific date described in the workshop or retreat presentation. If you opt for the payment plan, you are responsible for paying both installments. In the event that the second installment is not transferred to Signe Bay Photography’s account (Signe Bay Photography will always send out at least two e-mail reminders), Signe Bay Photography can suspend your access to the workshop or retreat.
FOOD, DIETS & ALLERGIES
If you have any food allergies, we will try our best to accommodate dietary requirements. What food we serve will typically be dictated by the country and region, the event takes place. We will be happy to offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options if you let us know about your allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.
CANCELLATION BY YOU AND REFUNDS
Unfortunately due to the involved logistics & upfront costs of the workshops, masterclasses, and retreats, we have a strict no-refund and no-cancellation policy regardless of circumstance. No refunds will be provided for any reason for the unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, including if you leave a trip for any reason or have to be removed from a trip.
The trip price is a package cost and refunds are not available for services not used. If you need to cancel we will happily try to help find a replacement traveler for your spot. In that case you will have a 100% refund minus the cost of transfer (Stripe or Paypal) and a 200€ administration fee. If we don’t succeed in finding a replacement traveler (and you don’t either), your investment will unfortunately be lost. Therefore it is very recommendable to have a travel insurance.
There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, terrorism, civil strife, pandemics, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Signe Bay Photography is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparing for a trip (eg. nonrefundable advance purchase air tickets, equipment, etc.) or for any additional arrangements pre- or post-departure date. The term applies whether the tour is altered, modified, or canceled by us or by you for any reason.
We strongly recommend you buy travel insurance.
CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND POSTPONEMENTS
In the rare event that Signe Bay Photography is forced to postpone a course or a trip for any unforeseen circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Signe Bay Photography, such as but not limited to, acts of nature, war, labor strikes, pandemics, earthquake, flooding, etc., Signe Bay Photography will bank 100% of your paid fees as a credit to use for another workshop, retreat, masterclass or creative gathering or you can choose to have a 100% refund. You will have the option to travel on your rescheduled trip date or transfer 100% of your booking amount to travel on another Signe Bay Photography departure.
Signe Bay Photography reserves the right to cancel or change a workshop, masterclass, or retreat at any time due to insufficient registration numbers or illness, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of travelers is judged by Signe Bay Photography in our sole discretion to be compromised. In such instances, all registered guests may move to another workshop, masterclass, or retreat with available space, or receive a refund. We will contact registered participants by email regarding any changes. If the workshop, masterclass, or retreat, the guest decides to move to, is more expensive, the guest is to pay the difference in rates. Signe Bay Photography is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable or non-transferable air or travel tickets. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
RESPONSIBILITY
Signe Bay Photography will provide educational enrichment during workshops, retreats, master classes, or culinary tours. The other providers are solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services. Signe Bay Photography shall not be held responsible for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government, or by acts of nature, strikes, fire, flood, war, terrorism, sickness, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. The participant waives any claim against Signe Bay Photography for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. Signe Bay Photography reserves the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any participant on any photo workshop. Signe Bay Photography reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants. You have assumed the responsibility to select an activity appropriate to your physical abilities and interests. You are personally responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the activity.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND MEDICAL CARE
Some of our workshops and retreats are physically active, with varying levels of demands and fitness requirements depending on the specific itinerary. By making a booking, you represent that you do not have any physical or other conditions that would create a hazard for you or other attendees or affect other people’s enjoyment of the trip. In the event any medical care is administered to you during the trip, Signe Bay Photography assumes no responsibility for any such medical care provided to you. You are solely responsible for any and all costs of medical care and related transportation, if any, that are provided to you during the trip.
UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Signe Bay Photography reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to be familiar with these terms and conditions.
